Steven 'Stoney' Burke

Burke, Steven "Stoney" Age 69 of Plymouth, formerly of St. Louis Park passed away April 16, 2017. US Army veteran. Steve was an avid hockey player, coach, and mentor throughout his entire life. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Ethel; siblings, Jack and Susan. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Gwynne; nieces, Stacy and Karla; nephew, Kevin; in-laws, Lynne, Martie and Jon; and many valued friends.

Bruce Chesin worked in hospitality all his life, his wife said. He would deliver bread in the morning when he was a student at the University of Minnesota, and shortly after that, he and a friend ran disco venue The Establishment in the Foshay Tower in downtown Minneapolis, and later The Hippogriff in St. Louis Park, which is where he met Anne. She was a bartender at the busy nightclub.  The couple moved to Las Vegas for a while in the early 1980s to help Bruce Chesin’s ailing parents, and to Scotland for five years, where Bruce Chesin helped Anne Chesin’s mother with a small fishing hotel she owned. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After he graduated from high school and joined the Marines to serve his country. He went to Vietnam in 1966 and was with the 2nd battalion, 9th Marines. After serving 13 months there he went on to be sergeant of guard of President Johnson’s and Nixon’s helicopter. After his service he went on to college and received his BA in mathematics from Minnesota State University. 





David was active in Vietnam Veterans group. He followed his brother to Sandpoint in 1991 where he resided until his death.

Heideman, Christopher, Keithley, Nancy went to be with Jesus on 9/8/2020. Nancy was born 6/10/1947 and grew up in St. Louis Park, MN. She was a loving Sister, Wife, Mother, Nana, Great Nana, and a longtime daycare provider. She loved being around little children to teach them and show them God's Love. Nancy will be deeply missed by her brothers: Dale, Todd and John; her son Chris (Patty); daughter Carla; her 13 grandchildren: Colton, Kyle, Quinn, Caleb, Abby, Sarah, Andrew, Gianna, Tim, Daniel, Andrew S., Kaitlyn and Megan.

Walter Scott Clark (Scott)- 76 of St. Louis Park, MN passed away on June 3, 2023, surrounded by family. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend; known for his kindness, calm demeanor and devotion to his family. He was also a quick study at most anything he decided to tackle. Over his lifespan his varied interests, from photography to home projects, kept his life interesting and challenged his curious mind.

Obituary of James Smith Cullen, Jr.

James Smith Cullen Jr., 77, of Minnetonka, MN passed away on April 25, 2025.
Born April 29, 1947, in Minneapolis, MN. He attended St. Louis Park High School (class of 1965), where he met his wife, Sue, and many lifelong friends. They nicknamed him "Chopper", in reference to his early affinity for motorcycles. Jim's biggest passion was being on the water, including boating on the St. Croix, spending weekends at the cabin in Crosslake, and cruising on Lake Minnetonka. Jim was a plant manager for Sunburst Chemicals in Bloomington and was a loyal employee for 37 years before retiring in 2015.

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Craig Davidson, MD, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 77. He worked as an Internal Medicine physician at Park Nicollet Medical Center, where he was beloved by patients and staff. Later in his career, Craig transitioned to the life insurance industry, where his innovation and research led the company to become the first to offer life insurance to people with prostate cancer, breast cancer, and HIV.
