Ronald Russell Roberts, age 74, of Las Vegas, NV died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday morning,1, 2021 after battling many health issues over the past few years.
Ron was born in Minneapolis, MN on March 24, 1947. He grew up in St. Louis Park, MN and graduated high school in 1965. He began a career in the pizza business starting out as a cook and eventually owning a few pizzerias in MN. Later he switched careers to sales of cars, mobile homes and timeshares. Before he retired, his favorite sales job was selling spices to restaurants and deli shops in Las Vegas.
Beloved husband, dad, and Pappy Rob, age 71 of Inver Grove Heights, has ended his journey here on earth April 9, 2018 surrounded by family and is now at home in heaven. We will miss him as an entertainer, cook, provider, friend, husband, dad and Pappy. We know where he is. We just get to imagine what he's doing. Rob is survived by wife, Kris; children, BJ (Laura) and Cassie (Matt) Daulton; grandson, Beau; and a loving extended family and friends.

I first met Ronnie when she moved to SLP from Chicago. I think that we were about 15 years old and in the tenth grade. Then 45 years later, I received a message from her on Facebook. I was so surprised to find out that she was also living in the Los Angeles area. We used to see each other whenever I drove up to the valley to have my hair done. We would talk for hours about our families and about Minneapolis. I remember how excited she was when her daughter became engaged. Coincidentally, we were supposed to be in Minneapolis at the same time. I was visiting my mom and she was coming in for her daughter's bridal showers. Unfortunately, we didn't get together.
