Alexander, Sandra E. (Eidem) Age 73 of Plymouth, formerly of St Louis Park, passed away peacefully in her home. Sandy was a devout Christian and her faith guided her through life. Sandy received the greatest joy caring for the people around her. Her beloved family, her many friends, and neighbors, were all touched by Sandy's unending generosity and devotion. Having genuine interest and care for others was Sandy's greatest gift. But most of all, she deeply loved her children and cherished her many grandchildren, whom she spoiled with lunch dates and surprise gifts that came by mail, or simply positive, supportive, uplifting conversation. Grandma Sandy's love came with no strings attached, and all of her grandchildren received her affection equally. After retiring from the YMCA, she loved to spend endless hours working in her beautiful summer gardens with her husband. Sandy was preceded in death by her father Thomas Eidem. Sandy is survived by her husband of 20 years, David; mother Elaine Eidem; children Carrie (Larry), Jeffrey (Stacy), Christopher (Alissa), Stephanie (Dominic), Nicholas (Amy); and her husband David's children Charlie and Jillian; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Michael; sister Patricia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
