While a senior in High School I recorded “Turn On Your Love light” with The High Spirits. The record became a number one song in nineteen major US cities and was credited with forging the Punk music movement:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_High_Spirits
Subsequent to the band I was contracted to do on the road marketing for notable acts such as Sonny and Cher, Alice Cooper, and Rolling Stones.
I then opened an entertainment marketing and advertising company in Minneapolis and took on Warner Bros. Records creating campaigns for their top artists. In the 1970’s I brought Wisconsin native and legendary Jazz singer Al Jarreau to California where he was signed by Warner Bros. Records and as manager, signed the artist Prince to the largest record deal in history at that time.Eventually I signed an additional eleven artists to various major record labels earning ten gold and platinum certified albums. In 1989 I was appointed by the Governor of Minnesota to establish and construct a performing arts high school.Today, the Perpich

Comment:I have been married to classmate Grant Jensen for 48 years. We are spending our winters in Las Vegas and our summers between our home in Burnsville and our cabin near Spooner Wisconsin. We have two children and two grandchildren. Drayk is now 6 and going into 1st grade in the fall. LiliGrace is 4 and going into pre-school. Grandchildren are truly a persons reward for being parents. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

How can it be 50 years!! Not that much time has gone by...... My life has been wonderful and I am looking forward to many new adventures. I have done a lot of travelling and there is still so very much to see, I don't understand how the bucket list keeps getting longer!! I never had children, but my life is very full with nieces and nephews and, dare I say it, great-nieces and nephews, they all help to keep this aunty very young. And the great friends I have known throughout the years have really made my life so blessed. Every once in a while I run into an old (?) classmate in a very unusual situation. This world gets smaller every day....that's what makes it so fun! I am so looking forward to the reunion and seeing all of our Orioles. What fun!!!

A favorite motto: "Leap and the net will appear." Celebrating 41 years of marriage to Steven Haggmark, retired theology professor and ELCA clergy. Still enjoy working. My career has included numerous jobs involving teaching, writing/editing, and grants work for healthcare services and biomedical research. I've gotten very interested in genealogical research and was amazed to learn about family previously unknown to me. That was a leap -- and once again, the net appeared.
Steve and I have lived in Minnesota and California, and both taught for 6 years in a private university on Java, Indonesia. We've greatly enjoyed travel in Sweden, Norway, England, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia, South India and the Indonesian islands of Java, Sumatra and Bali. We're both reasonably fluent in the Indonesian language (which we seldom get a chance to speak in the U.S.) and learned some Swedish too.
I'm especially grateful for a public school experience that, though bounded by its times, offered such a solid education and a wide variety of choices. Choir, music theory, 4 years of French, excellent English and history classes, humanities ... great memories.
Still singing, now with the Fresno Master Chorale -- a wonderful group that premiered several works last year and celebrates its 60th anniversary next season. Still traveling, especially to the nearby Pacific Coast. And still enjoy staying in contact with friends from all the way back to Park Knoll Elementary School!
Have a wonderful time at the 50th reunion, everyone. All best wishes.

I went to school in St. Louis Park all my life until 1962-1964 when my Dad was transferred to Brainerd, which is where I met my husband, Jim, of 47 years now. My Dad was transferred back to the cities so got to graduate from Park with all of you, after all.
We have 3 sons who each have a boy & a girl, ranging in age from 19 to 4 years. Two of them live in Brainerd where Jim & I have lived ever since he got out of the Navy in 1971. Our oldest son & family lives in Boise, ID.
I worked as an LPN while my husband was in the Navy, but then a stay-at-home Mom 'til our youngest was in 5th grade. Then I went to work in the school system as a educational asst...mostly in 1st grade, for 18 years. I retired in 2011 along with my husband who was a realtor here in Brainerd for 41 years.
I'm sorry that I won't be able to come to the reunion. It's been so fun reading everyone's "life." Thanks to you who have set all of this up...lots of work!
