Comment: I have worked for the past 25 years for the City of Minneapolis.  I currently work on Business and Special Projects for the Minneapolis Employment and Training Program.  I also co-host an interview television program featureing members of the Minneapolis City Council called "City Council Recap."  I volunteer as President of the Seward Towers Board of Directors, a 622 affordable housing corporation located in Minneapolis.  My wife, Joy, and I have four children and ten grandchildren.  We live in Shakopee.

I had a great time catching up with everyone at the 50th reunion. I have now semi- retired from my the Insurance Underwriting /Marketing career. I volenteer at Abbott Northwestern Hospotal and am a trustee serving on the St. Louis Park Historical society. I'm still looking around to see if there are other activities I can get involved with, including part time work.



My wife Patricia ( Bach ) is still working part time as an Nurse at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.





I play golf and sing in a Male Chorus ( The Apollo Club ) I had a great time at Park especially student council and singing in the select chorus and the musicals.







I'm looking forward to the next get together with the class of 1965

Comment: After High School I went to UW Madison to get my BS in nursing.I then joined the Army Nurse Corp and was stationed in Heidelberg,Germany,Augusta,Ga and New York,NY.Following the military the majority of my career has been in the Emergency Room and IV Team at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.I have been happily married to Jim Robbins for over thirty years, am now semi retired at ANW, and enjoying my free time.

Comment: I am looking forward to reconnecting with friends from SLP HS at the 50th.  Since High School, I attended the University of Minnesota and completed BA and MA degrees math (much later I completed a master's degree in computer science).  I married my first ballet teacher, Julie Swanson, from the Minnesota Dance Theatre.  I spent 39 stimulating and enjoyable years as a software engineer at Control Data/General Dynamics.  Julie retired as the Co-Director at the Bush Library at Hamline University.  We lived in St. Louis Park for 37 years and got to see our daughters go through the SLP school system.  This afforded me the opportunity to make many nostalgic trips through Westwood Jr. High and the Senior High.  Now, we have downsized into a townhouse in Edina.  Our older daughter, Adrienne, has a home in St. Louis Park and is the Business Manager at STEP (St. Louis Park Emergency Programs).  Our younger daughter, Jillian, is a computer science graduate student in Chicago and the mother of two children.  In retirement, we make frequent trips to see our grandchildren (and their parents).  I am also taking classes in Italian, guitar lessons, and mat pilates/yoga classes.  Julie is taking classes in tai chi and loves talking about being a grandmother.

Comment: Augustana College, Sioux Falls,SD grad.  Taught deaf in Coon Rapids and sub in Newell, IA plus 10 years in Special Ed in Sioux Rapids, IA.  Married 40 years to Jim Rock..we own and operate a cattle and grain ranch.  Two sons, John and Brian, and their wives plus 5 grandchildren live in Stillwater, MN.

Enjoy traveling..Europe, China, and National Parks...Banff, Lake Louise this summer!  Otherwise a lot of summer fun at our cabin in NW WISC with our grandkids that are a real blessing!

Comment: This is so great to stay connected this way.  What did we do before computers?   haha  I missed our last reunion because it was my husband's 50th Reunion in Sioux City, Iowa.  We hope to make the next one!

Comment:  Fifty years have gone like the blink of an eye.



Ten years ago, I retired from Northwest Airlines as a flight attendant. I was old enough to retire and with a merger with Delta, it was time to go. I do miss my layovers in Hawaii, London, Japan, Amsterdam and the comaraderie of my flight attendant friends. But don't miss jet lag.



In addition to flying, I wrote for newspapers including St. Louis Park Review, Lakeshore Weekly, HaKol and Northwest publications including Passages magazine and Inflight Update.



Since retirement, I worked part time for General Mills and now Food Perspectives, conducting food tests.



I have been married to Joe Romeo for 21 years. He owns MediChoice Insurance, specializing in Medicare. 'We have travelled to many countries inclduing Australia. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is our favorite vacation destination in the winter. It's great fun to play.



I enjoy exercises at the YMCA including Zumba, cardio and strength. Joe and I often spend weekends biking in Preston, Minnesota.



It will be fun to see the classmates of 1965.
