Comment: After graduation, I enlisted in the Air Force and spent a year in Viet Nam landing at Ton Son Nhut 3 days before the TET Offensive.  I was also lucky to have a ringside seat for the Bob Hope Xmas show at Long Bien (featuring Ann Margaret).  3 weeks after arriving home from Viet Nam in Jan. 1969, I bowled the ONLY 300 game in the history of the Mpls. Tribune Classic Bowling Tournament.  (All those games at  Carriage House Lanes finally paid off.)  In 1973 I had the highest average in Minn. at 217 and I bowled in a number of Professional Tournaments while living in Missouri.  After a career as a Computer Field Engineer, I started a business of restoring and selling 78 RPM Wurlitzer Jukeboxes.  I now spend most of my days playing Poker (Hold-em) at the local casinos. (retirement is GREAT).   I am truely blessed to have a great wife and 3 wonderful kids.

City: Oceanside
Marital status: Single
Occupation: retired
Comment: Hi everyone.  Despite the fact that I haven't been back to MN in many years, I am alive and well and living in Oceanside, CA...about 30 miles North of San Diego.  After living in Denver, San Jose, Danville and Sacramento, Oceanside is by far the best!  I am enjoying my retirement from Kemper Insurance.  My days are filled with going to the beach, playing golf and being a docent at the Gemological Inst of America headquarters in Carlsbad.  I am sorry I will miss the reunion and the buckem game with Bonnie, Susie, Judy, Joanne and the gang.  If anyone is out this way send me a note.  Stay healthy and have fun!

Marital status: Married

Occupation: Semi retired
Comment:

My husband and I moved from southern MN to our lake home on Cass Lake when we retired. We enjoy the lake life but head for Lake Havasu City, AZ, when the snow starts to blow and come back  to MN for fishing opener.

We have 3 daughters and 1 son plus 4 grandsons and a granddaughter. Our kids are all in MN except for the youngest daughter who lives in Salem, Oregon. We try to get the whole family together at Thanksgiving and celebrate an early Christmas.

I am hoping to attend the Friday night get together unless my jury duty number gets called up.  Not sure what to expect with this jury duty-never had to serve before.

Hope I will know some classmates at the Friday night Park Tavern get together...it has been a long time!

Marital status: Married

Occupation: Financial Planner/Biz Owner
Comment: Life is Good!!

One son, one stepson and one stepdaughter.  Four grandchildren ages 5-10.

Taught school and then in 1976 opened a financial planning biz. Never dreamed when I was in college I would always work.  I have loved it!  I am finding it hard to retire--getting pressure from my husband:)

Travel 3 to 4 months a year.  Have a biz partner who manages the operation while I am either visiting clients or playing.  Have done alot of community service work and hope to do more in the future.  Cooking is my "therapy!"  Love to feed people.  I guess that is my Jewish Mother side.  Love attending all types of performing arts; guess that is my creative side.  Also love attending sporting events--guess that is...oops I have no athletic side!  But I can dance and will at any opportunity:)

Was new to SLP senior year.  Made some of my closest friends from that class.  Am grateful to have been part of that great group and this great class!

Cheers,

Shelli Chase
