Comment: Have lived in Eagan since 1970.  Great family.  My wife, Maryellen and son, Tony and daughter, Tiffany.  Very proud of them!   (Met Maryellen way back when at Porky's!)

Sure miss those onion rings.

Lately seeing a lot of the USA ... but still love Florida best! I'm definitely a palm tree guy.

I have been "on the air" at 8 Twin Cities radio stations and 2 TV stations.  Guess I get around ..... or simply can't hold a job!  From being Barry "McKinna" on KDWB in the early 70's, to an announcer at K102, KOOL 108 and other stations ... to anchoring news and sports on Channel 11.  It was great fun thru the years introducing and interviewing countless celebrities & singers.

I also was Marketing and Sales Manager for various consumer shows at the Convention Center and RiverCentre, plus shows in Wisconsin and New York.

For the past 30 years, I've operated my home recording studio and create and produce

commercials and videos.

I still do studio work, love to travel and am dedicated to helping as much as I can

with anything to do with animal rights.

Also very excited about playing with my group, The Rocker Brothers Band, at the big

50th party!

Comment: Greetings!

After graduating from HS, I took off for the desert southwest. I attended and graduated from New Mexico State University and married my husband Burr. We have been married for 47 years. After graduating from NMSU, we lived in Tempe, AZ for a year then we taught school in Kayenta, AZ on the Navajo Reservation.  Next we moved back to Indiana to run my husband's family farm.  We lived on the farm for 44 years during which I worked at social work jobs when I wasn't at home helping keep the home and farm running. I retired in 2012. The week-end after retiring on Friday we began moving to town after turning the farm over to our son.  We have four children, 11 grand-children (ages 5 mos. - 26 yrs) and one great-grand child with another one due any day.  We have had some great adventures but I can honestly say that I am the most proud of my kids and grand-kids and the fine people they have turned out to be.

Comment: Fifty years since high school graduation, time sure flies.

After high school graduation our family moved to the Chicago area.  Graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a BS in Engineering then moved to Southern California.  I worked in the aerospace industry for 40 years, Hughes, Boeing and Raytheon.  Along the way I earned a MSEE from USC.

I have been married for 43 years and we have three wonderful children, daughter/son/daughter.  We have two grandchildren that live in the San Francisco area with our oldest daughter and husband.  The grandkids are a joy to have around.  Our youngest daughter was married in June, so we are officially empty nesters.

We enjoy traveling, concerts and watching the grandkids, I also like to do some biking.  Cruises seem to be our preferred method of travel; we get to see a little bit of several different places.  My wife Joyce works part-time so our travels are planned around her schedule.

I am looking forward to seeing my classmates at the reunion.

Comment: After high school I attended Macalester, and then taught elementary school in Minneapolis for a couple of years. In '71 I moved to suburban Chicago for a new job where I transitioned into editing, which has been a good fit ever since. Job moves eventually brought me back to the Twin Cities, and since 2001 I've been the managing editor at Bethany House Pubilishers. Retirement looks better all the time--check back in a couple years. Then I'll have more time to volunteer, enjoy lunch with friends, attend concerts, and read books for fun.

Comment: What have I been doing for the last 50 years?

After college:  Most importantly, I have been married to my husband, Michael, for 47 years. Together, we have raised 3 successful sons, all professionals in their fields. In addition, 2 are published authors. Our daughter-in-law, a PhD, is currently a visiting professor at Brown University. We have one wonderful grandson, so far, who really enriches our lives.

Due to my husband's involvement on the policy board of the National Funeral Directors and as the past president of the Rhode Island Funeral Directors, we have had the opportunity to visit Alaska, Hawaii and all but two of the rest of the states in the U.S.

I serve as the Community Involvement Coordinator for the Funeral Chapel that we own in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Over the years, our funeral chapel has been very involved in our community – in both religious and secular ways. We have for several years continued to sponsor our original-concept musical programs at senior-care facilities, where we fund the transportation and compensation of high school classes (drama, band, and choruses). We send these students to many RI senior-care facilities to entertain their residents.  It is a win-win project that I have created. The seniors enjoy the youth of the students and the students have an opportunity to learn about a portion of the population with whom they usually have little or no contact. For my part, as a volunteer directing and monitoring these events, it is very gratifying to witness the joy that is produced and shared by all in attendance.

These days, my husband and I are in the process of handing over the "reins" of our business to one of our very capable, compassionate sons. As we both slow down, we split our down time between our home in Warwick, RI and our residence in Boynton Beach, Florida. Having the time to travel more, we have been cruising a lot to the Caribbean, Mexico and the Panama Canal. Just two days prior to the beginning of the reunion festivities, we will be returning from an almost three week vacation in Italy. Because of the jet lag effect, I hope to be awake long enough to enjoy the Lake Minnetonka cruise, since we will be flying in especially for that event.  I'm looking forward to seeing many of our classmates there. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the "Main Event" on Saturday evening, since we will be returning to RI to attend a family event scheduled for that same time.

For now, life is good.

Comment: After the Army I owned two foreign car repair shops. From there on to commercial offset printing in Minnetonka. Back to school to obtain my degree in international business and law. Utilizing my experience for import export commodities.

Health issues forced us to relocate to the Southwest for dry warmer conditions. We do miss the Midwest and all our friends . Not to mention fishing, camping and all those Street Rod events. My wife Sharon and I are fully retired now. Sharon retired from Caterpillar World wide IT Dealer Support.

Hard to believe we hit 70 !

Great to stay in touch with so many Classmates!

Honor our fallen Vets!
